Had the good fortune of accompanying some good friends this past week on an antelope hunt here in south eastern Alberta. We hunted with our good friend Tim Piotrowski of Lost River Ranches. Walked our butts off and got two pretty nice bucks.

Dustin Flundra (right) took his buck late opening day and it was just short of 81. Wacey Marr (left)got one that grossed 74 and change. He had 6 1/2 bases with a 17 inch inside spread.

"Roadless areas, in general, represent some of the best fish and wildlife habitat on public lands. The bad news is that there is nothing positive about a road where fish and wildlife habitat are concerned -- absolutely nothing." (B&C Professor, Jack Ward Thomas, Fair Chase, Fall 2005, p.10).
