Tripod needed Help..

I have a Leopold HD spotting scope and need a good affordable tripod as the one that comes with the kit is a small one.

Any ideas would be appreciatted from you guys that use tripods alot out west.

"Good" tends to be a subjective term. The Vortex High Country is a decent, light weight scope. If you have more coin, I'm sure some of the other high end tripods will be superior.

I have been using a velbon el carmagne 630 carbon fiber tripod for the last 4 years and it is a great tripod. It isn't as light as some, but it extends high enough that me and others that are over 6' tall can stand and glass. I think it weighs in around 4.5 lbs with the head. I am going to be getting a new head soon that will drop it to around 3 lbs.

Slik carbon fibers are nice for their price range. I like mine.
