I own a pair of Leica geovids and I want to mount them to my tripod, problem is I can only find the mount that srews into them. I see alot of guys with a strap looking system that hold their binos. Where can I find something like that?

The Outdoorsman's in Phoenix AZ makes a special mount for the 42 and 56mm Geovids. Check it out at www.outdoorsmans.com
I haven't used this mount, but the guys at the Outdoorsman's only put thier name on good stuff that works! NJS

I have the outdoorsmans ring/mount... it is definintely the way to go... spent 4 strait days w/it... good luck

K&K makes a couple versions of what you're looking for. One has a strap and the other clamps them down. I have them both and think that the clamp version, while heavier is probably the way to go.
