Has anyone used trefren outfitters out of Thayne Wy? If so was it?

They don't run a bad operation, it's clean and as far as I know they do right by their hunters. But I think it's been a few years since they killed a "big" buck. If your looking for a quality experience in and a nice camp in a beautiful spot they are your outfitter. But as far as killing big bucks in region G. I think you can do better.

I'd go with greys river, or non-typical outfitters. Or SNS (formerly jackson hole outfitters and sheep mountain outfitters)

Is Gregg Fisher still own Deadman Creek Outfitters and just changed the name or is this some new person who bought out Gregg?

It's a new guy. i'm not familiar with him. Sure a lot of camps changing hands or on the market in the Greys!

Has anybody heard anything abou non-typical outfitters? Anybody have any recommendations for a Mountain Lion guide in Wyoming?

Ryan Merrit out of Auburn WY. His business is called smokey canyon outfitters. His number is 307-690-6322 I don't know him personally but I do know he is about as good as it gets for hunting mountain lions in Wyoming.
