Anyone search for neat stuff with a detector. Old coins and things? I am going to visit family at San Louis abispo and wondered about going to the beeches looking in the sand with a detecter. I found some silver coins but that is it. Possibly meteorites too that I have made into necklases for fun. If I take the detector it will cost me to check it.

Got a good hard case to carry it in? Them airlines can b rough on electronics like that

My 8 year old triplet boys got a metal detector this summer. First time out right across the road from our house, not 5 feet off the pavement they found an old 50 cal muzzle load conical that had been shot. I would like to know the story on where that came from.

Got a couple buckets full of treasures! Metal Detectors are like a woman you really need to get to know them before they put out. Spend a lot of time with it. I take mine most every where. Beaches are non productive. To many Bikini distractions I don't know why I always go back! Rutnbuck
