I just got a lab. I want to train her to shed hunt.It is a big part of what I do to stay busy until hunting season starts. So if any one can give me tips on training my pup I would appreciate it.

I dont have one but herd that you just play fetch with shed horns and make shed horns there favorite toy.
Use brown and white horns, cause if you just use white ones they tend to bring just white horns, if you use both they will bring both.
I want to get a lab.

yeah i agree with jake. Not only just play fetch with him but keep him around the sheds all day. that is how my brothers girlfriends dog learned.

thanks for the tips so far she is doing good she plays fetch with horns sleeps with horns and packs around a shed every where she goes hopefully it all pays off. Thank you.

I trained my black lab to pick up sheds.
The downfall i have now is everytime i let him out, he runs around my entire yard and picks all the antlers out of all my flowerbeds and piles them up on my dang porch and wants a freakin bisket for doing such a great job!!
