So the other thread about trail cams got me wondering how many of us here use them. The reason I ask is Nevada has been kicking around the idea of controlling their use. The last draft reg I saw on it said they would not be allowed "for the purpose of hunting" from July 1 to March 1 (I think). And they would not be allowed at any time within so many yards of a waterhole.
So let's do a little poll and answer these questions. Lets try to not get in a pissing match about whether they are right or wrong, fair chase, if they are safe on public land or if the regulation would be good or bad. There's been plenty of talk about that before. Let's just take a poll.
Do you use trail cameras to gather data for hunting?
Do you use them only prior to the season?
Do you use them on water sources?
Do you use them away from water sources?
Do you use them in the off season just for fun?
Do you use the kind that can transmit the images via wireless signal?
I will start
