Just curious, dont see many threads on trad gear on this site. Today I finished up two bows and got some decent pics of them (with some bone to boot! B&C Shiras shed from W. MT).

Not only are they purdy, they are some of the best shooting bows out there. I was fortunateenough to get one of Hornseekers first bows and it is unbelievable. I intend to knock down the king of deer up in Alaska this fall with it. Some of it is the fact that I shoot a monster bow due to my size, but that Saphire shoots arrows faster and straighter than any other that I have had the pleasure to shoot in the traditional class.

GREAT looking bows mister!

VERY nice! Definately beats the bows I've built in years past. Something about the simplicity and beauty of a custom built bow.

Thanks. I really like working with the different woods...but shooting them when I'm done is the icing on the cake!!

Here's a pic of the bow that I built for Doug.

those are beautiful. I tried a kit once but it delaminated. Im getting another this winter. As far as trad shooters, it will be my first year hunting with a recurve. 50 pound hoyt gamemaster. Im excited about it!

I've nothing against compounds and was really proficient out to about 50 yards when I shot one, but wouldn't want to mess with one after carrying longbows and recurves for several years. Just so much funner to shoot, lighter to carry....
