I found out unfortunately that the bed height on a Chevy is 19.5" , and the bed height on a Ford is 20.4". It really turns in to a problem when you drop in the ATV rack. The side braces hit the rails so I had to weld channel iron for a lift on the rack, or use 2x4's. I chose the 2x4 route to save money, time and weight. Plus only 1 fuel tank on the Silverado and it is in the way due to being a short bed. Ready for some adventures now.
