Were stretching both of our legs. Been a while (Fall) since I've been in the saddle.

ive always been curious...what elevation range do you pick up moose sheds? ill probably never shed hunt them as i dont have any near me. however ive often wondered whether they stay up way high midrange or low. and lookin at your pics looks like your up pretty high

I find them anywhere from 6000' to 9000' depending the year and how much snow. I awyas find the bigger ones higher on the hill in out of the way places. Smaller ones sometimes on the trails and lower ridges with the cows and calves.

They spend their winters on the South facing Mahogony (their staple food for the winter) ridges.

In Wyoming I usually find them in Willow bottoms near creeks and rivers but since we lack that where I look in the N. Utah they are high on the Mtn.

Nice set and a good looking horse. Glad you was able to get out.

wow so you pretty much dont leave there summer ranges depending on snow levels? that interesting. big bur;y buggers can probably plow thru 4 ft of snow eh?
