It isn't that hunting is allowed, it is that firearms are allowed to be discharged within 600 feet. In fact, that was why the SL COUNTY ordinance had to be repealed, because smart attorneys found that only the State can regulate the discharge of firearms.
So I am now curious as to how the COUNTY feels it can once again regulate the discharge of firearms.
And before the pissing matches start, I am a multi-weapon hunter, yes I do use a bow, muzzy and rifle.
Go to the RAC's!!! If state law finds weapon owners are responsible enough to discharge firearms at 600 feet, then the County and the RAC should respect the responsible hunters to do the same.
And I bet the homeowner in Emigration who started this whole process still gets to use his property as a personal gun range....
