Hopefully this crap will be outlawed in all western states. This is a much bigger threat to our big game than any non transmitting trail cam.

I’m curious why you say this. Is hunting for “big game” allowed at night in other states? Or is it a scouting thing? I honestly don’t know.

Now if they sold mounts for my Hawkins……

Thermal is how you put up the big numbers coyote hunting but I can’t see on their site where/how this would attach to a scope. I’d drop a pile of money on thermals if I had enough private ground access lined up. In Idaho you can’t night hunt on public

I bought a pair of night vision binos once because I thought it would be cool to see stuff at night. I think they must have been a beta version of generation 0.5 or something.

I never did see anything with them at night, so they’re buried in a junk pile somewhere. One of my top 5 worst buys ever.

Back on topic, I just assumed most states prohibited big game hunting at night, so I didn’t think this thermal stuff would enable poaching or threaten game any more than a can does.
