The Whore Buck

Here is a buck I watched this past winter. He isn't huge but I love the 5 inch hook cheater. I have other live photos of the buck but I thought I would just post one.
Hopefully he can escape the 19,000 deer hunters in the region and show up on the winter range again next year. Hey...miracles can happen!!
Ignore the dork in the 2nd photo. I paid him to hold the antlers!! The dang sun gave him the cheezy smile.

Jack_sparrow i know this buck very well, I have seen and taken video of this buck many times. I noticed on my video he has a swollen right back leg. I also now that to pick up this bucks sheds you would have to break the northern utah shed hunting law and go in early to beat all the other law breakers going in to pick up his sheds, and the two thirty inch four points that run with him. I am not saying you did this but it looks very suspecious to me.

Hey Yote,
Perhaps you are watching a different buck. There wasn't a single 30" buck in this area last winter! There is one that is about 28" that hung out with him. By the way, if you don't already know, the 28" 4x4 has shown up on the winter range again this year, except he is a giant 3x4 well over 30" wide. I will be posting some pictures of him on here as soon as I get some good ones.
I am assuming you are just jealous I have the antlers. You shouldn't be accusing people of things you don't even know. You are welcome to come over anytime to see the antlers.
Do you happen to be related to Brooks Utley?
I call the buck "The Whore" because of his "Hooker" cheater & he always wanted to be close to the ladies. I suck at coming up with names for bucks. Perhaps I shouldn't even try naming bucks!!

Jack,
i am definitely not jealous. I know for a fact that it is the same buck, i have video of him from about 80 yards. Plus there was two four point bucks hanging in the same area as he was, both of them were 28-30 inches wide. One had weaker fronts and the other had weaker backs. I also have good video of the 3 by 4 this year, i would say he is 32-33 wide. I am not looking for a confrontation, but i do know a lot about the area and these bucks. your right i should not be accusing people of things i don't know about, but this is one thing i know about. Its cool you found both sides to him, good luck during the next shed hunting season. I do not know brooks utley he is probably related some how.

I posted pictures of the wide 3x4 last year under "The Gala Buck." He is probably one of the bucks you are saying was 30" last year. I can't figure out which of the other bucks you are saying was 30" wide. Can you post some pictures?
I agree with you...The Gala buck is at least 32" wide this year & probably even wider. It is too bad he only came in with 3 points on his ride side this year.
Hey Yote...did you happen to pick up The Gala buck's right antler from last year? If you didn't, do you know who did?
Did you even try looking for any antlers in the area last year when it opened?
