Been watching marlin 45-70's on gunbroker and used ones are not going cheap.

I've got a couple guide guns. One is .45/70, the other is .450 Marlin. The 450 has a bit of a kick.

My BFR in .450 is, uh, interesting to shoot.

I got a bargain when I bought my Marlin, 1895 LTD-V for 850 bucks just before Remington bought out Marlin. Super accurate, 1 inch groups at 100 yards with two different hunting loads and that is great for a lever action.
I saw that the new Ruger Marlin 1895 has a suggested price of $1,350.00.

Don't Know What Grain of Bullets they are Though?

Nope. I bought early and deep. Same with brass and bullets.

Heck of a steep price. I bought my marlin 1895 guide gun new for $600. Been offered more than double for it but i cant let it go
