Posted this in "general" lets stick to sheds here! So to help pass the time till spring bear, or fall deer, or whatever your next big hunt is, I have an interesting "game"
Alot of you probably have a Mule Deer or Elk with some part of its rack being "exceptional", but lacking in other areas.
Example, a buck with 25"+ main beams, 4" eyegaurds, but with tiny forks, or "pinchers". How about a bull with a 27" G-3, but only a 14" G-4. A bull with incredible mass (13" H-1) but the longest tine being a mere 12"? A buck with a 28" inside spread, but very little else.
Anyway, lets build a Mule Deer buck, and a Bull elk using the best measurement each of you have, either on a set of antlers you posess, a trophy you harvested, or a shed you have found.
Am I making sense? Kinda like putting all the best qualities (personality, smarts, breasts etc) of all of your old girl freinds together to make "the ultimate woman"
So post your best measurement (not the one in your pants) Put the measurement reference if you know it (B&C H, G, inside, Main Beam) and species (elk or muley)
Pics would be great too. Ill start, but I dont know how good Ill do trying to post a pic...
Elk, G-3 20 1/8"
