Have they started casting their headgear in the Strip this soon? Seems a bit early. Maybe they are dropping early like a few of the other states. Lets see some pics.
There, I called it. Sorry, I had to. If you did find 5, you must have hit a honey hole, and I'll bet they were all old. I'm planning a trip out there, but I'll wait for the current crop to ripen before doing any plucking.
I believe u show me your rack i was on the strip once and i found really big horns under more trees than not i am surprised more people dont go out there its pretty easy to find them
Holy crap!!!!!! You were right. I decided to take my youngest son out for a quick hike on the strip just to check behind a few trees. We only walked around for a few hours, but we found 7 sheds including a matched set laying within 20 yards of each other. Too bad they were all old flakey chaulkers and rotten stumps. It appears to me that there are more sheds than hunters out there because these sheds must have been laying there 20-30 years and nobody found them until we came along. By the way, we saw a total of 19 deer, and only one of them had antlers (it was a yearling forkey). The rest looked like skinny necked does. We didn't see any of the older bucks that supposedly live out there. They must have gone somewhere else this year.
