Bess, I was reading them last night. This last decision sure got the general forum hoping eh? I'm just hoping you get that coveted piss cutter tag at the expo so my mini van has a place to hunt this year. Its been sitting in the driveway for years!

How about this I will fork up the cash to buy a premium cwmu elk tag. You and 20 of your buddy's can use the money you waste on going to the expo. And I will do a random draw on who gets the tag. Your odds will be 1/20 but oh yeah I get to keep the extra cash. I am gonna re plant some planter fish in the high uintas with the left over money I promise
 
I need to get in the line for a premium CWMU tags for 2-3 Grand!

If you see that it has to do with SFW, and you dont want to read it, move on to the next item. If it has to do with Utah, move on to the next forum. You are not being forced to read and click on anything.

But I guess there are enough people in Utah that like to bend over. Some of us are tired of bending over. SO with enough people, and yes there will be more than 20, we will do what ever we have to do.

I have not yet decided if I will apply or not. If I do, it will be very minimal. But I will not go inside anymore. I am done with that. I feel bad, I loved the POP up archery shoot, and I am very good friends with the guys running it. I will have to support them else where.
 
Robiland, well said. Key thing as i see it, you need to get the word out to the masses on what happened and why it did.

Any reasonable person should now have strong reason to believe the whole "system" is corrupt and "The People" should have a way and every right to repair the system. Good luck!

I'm sure Utah can be a great place to live, but at the moment, not much to be proud of with this expo fiasco. I've always wanted to go, now not so much. The RMEF conventions are a good deal though. mtmuley

Didn't say you were now did I? I'd say that all of us are tired of seeing all the anti Expo posts. If everyone out in Utah can't see that the whole system is corrupt all the way to the DWR and Governor's Offices after what happened at that Board meeting last week, then something is drastically wrong because the handwriting is on the wall. Those that do appear to be finally doing something about it and I hope each one can get all their friends to do the same as they are going to do and boycott the Expo. If every single person that doesn't like what is going on boycotts the Expo and discontinues buying raffle chances with their $5 that is apparently being wasted for the most part, it won't take long to cut the tentacles that are still growing. We'll see how many do that in a few weeks to hit SWF/MDF in the pocketbook sufficiently to begin to put an end to the debacle out there. I'm praying there will be enough that look at the whole instead of just themselves to get it done, but I'm not holding my breath!

Exactly! NRs can't vote in your state to throw out the bums and very few are attending the Expo and/or buying chances for those 200 tags! It's basically up to the residents to take care of the problems and corruption they have allowed over the last couple decades, not us NRs.

In Illinois at least the corrupt politicians try to hide what they do, but usually get caught and end up in federal prison. In Utah, all their ethics violations are documented in broad daylight for 10+ years, and are actually boldly defended! And the DWR doesn't even obey their own rules and laws, in order to cater to SFW. There's so many SFWers on the wildlife board, one has to lie just to avoid a conflict of interest majority! It's a runaway train of corruption so bad I for the most part quit bothering to post on here the last 2 years. It's becoming a lost cause in a sea of disabled profile SFW plants on this website.

As was stated in the poaching thread, why should hunters obey the law when their own DWR does not? Poaching appears to be the future in Utah thanks to jokers like Tikka and/or Homer (since they're likely the same person). This is the SFW model for wildlife conservation. And their only defense is griping about nonresidents all the while they themselves are nonresidents in 49 states! Go figure. You are truly a Joker. Now why don't you go do something productive for once, and go post some poems in the Hunting Poem thread? It's been really dead there lately.
