THE SAD TRUTH

Hi, I'm new at monster muleys and have realized the sad truth. There are people using the hunt forums to bash other sportsmen. Before you type think about what your saying. Not every one has the funding to have the best equipment, land use, or are just new to the sport. I'm 26 have a mortgage a wife three great kids, and have been blessed to be able to enjoy the out doors with good company. I dont posses great optics, I shoot an average model 700, and deal with equipment passed down to me. I dont have a hunting dog, but do have waders. And any one out there looking to get in to the sport, I will help out. I live in wyoming, a state that doesn't have the best management. But with help from great organizations its improving. I put in for doe, and cow tags to put meat on the table, and to have a better opportunity to build memories to last a life time. I have friends in many different states who share the same love that I do for the great outdoors. So any one who wants to bash pleas don't. Instead right something educational, or just some constructive advice if you dont agree. Thank you and I look forward to talking to other respectful sportsmen.

Welcome to the Forum . We all enjoy the great outdoors. It doesnt take alot of money or great equipment to enjoy it . I remember camping out in the back of my truck when my kids were young, good times !

Great post Nick! I'm glad you finally decided to be a part of mm. You are a great friend, and hope you have a great year of hunting. I hope to be with you hunting them speed goats this fall. Guys this is one stand up guy, lets all welcome him to mm.

Welcome to MM I am also 26 and tho I dont have a house payment I do have a daughter who I don't get to see as much as I would like to. All my money I have goes to her, I pay my child support on time every month and what ever extra money I have I put in her college savings account I started for her. I love hunting but I love my little girl more. All my hunting gear is used and handed down to me. I can't stand it when ppl make negative comments to others on here. I love the outdoors and any chance I get I enjoy it like it could be my last. I am not perfect and have made fun of others to make myself feel better and for that I was wrong. I would love to see this web site be nothing but positive. I don't want to come off as a baby but yes my feelings have been hurt on here on some of my post. I love this web site lots I feel like even tho I will never meet most of you on here I have made many good friends. Any ways lets keep this website fun and positive please before founder says fu(k it and starts up a quilting forum lol.

Best wishes to all of you.
Aaron Martin.

Welcome to the site! I have not been here very long, but I love this site. It is very addicting. For the most part I think people on this site are pretty respectful and try to be helpful, However It is a bunch of guys who are all rough around the edges. Some more than others. If your not able to stand a little ribbing The internet is not for you. The campfire is one place I watch multiple times a day to see what guys have posted. Look through the rough part and this site can be very helpful and fun.
There are a couple people who do take things to far, just ignore them and maybe they will go away

I'll tell you who it was . . . it was that D@MN Sasquatch!

Rackman Nicks spelling is just fine! But your is well holy sh!t you been drinking or just never paid attention in school? Damn cuz!

I am right there with you Wackem.....I am the ultimate DI hunter when it comes to equipment....but I do get it done, it not, I have a great time doing it!

Well, I for one am one of those rich bastages that has nothing but the best. I have a ton of money, I hunt many states and provinces each year. I always hire a guide for every hunt I go on and NEVER do anything myself (DIY). I call it LSBEDE (let some body else do everything) I own top end optics, custom rifles in all the newest trick calibers, top them all with Swaro scopes. I wear out vehicles and throw them away like toilet paper. I have never shot an animal for meat, only the trophy. My wife is a pretty hot number who has surgically enhanced boobs and thinks her stuff don't "stink", just like me. I am new rich but it doesn't stop me from spending my money like there's no tomorrow and I have absolutely no regard for anyone elses feelings. I am extremely smart and funny, just ask me. The only thing I can't do is shoot straight.

So welcome aboard kid. Pay attention, maybe you'll learn something from me. If you're nice to me I might give you some cast off equipment.

(oh, and none of this is true, about me anyway)

Welcome aboard. Nice post to start if off. I think, regardless of demographics, that the vast majority of us are just normal people who love to hunt. There are a few that let their passions and mouths get away from that, but I suppose most of us have or have had some experience with that at one time or the other. I look forward to your posts.

Don't let NVB fool you. He actually is a very wealthy cattle baron and also owns a modest chain of Nevada casinos.

wackem - the thing that I think people forget is that we have all been in your exact shoes at one point in our lives. Some of us old buggers have got to the point of stability and over the years have had a chance to improve our equipment and our knowlege and skill for this great sport of hunting. Believe me when I say that it all didn't come at once. It's been a lifelong process and one that has been a great journey so far. Once piece of advice I will give you young bucks and that is you will never be happy on the mountain unless you are happy at home. Welcome to MM. I'm sure you will provide us with months of entertainment.

Jim
It's always an adventure!!!
