I havent sold antlers in a few years. Once again disappointed by what some antler buyers quote me for prices. So, I am headed to Oregon to sell them where I have for the last 20 years. Its treated me the best. Let the antler buyers fight it out over my sheds at the fur sale.
68 pounds of brown
60 pounds of junk
101 pounds of hard white
229 total pounds loaded in to 7 totes.

Yep all mule deer. I spend my time looking for moose and deer sheds, but I don't sell any moose sheds.

My best for moose sheds was 5 in a year. Been pretty slow last year or so, and looking ugly this year. I spend my time in mahogany flats but maybe that's my area. One of these days we need to start a moose pile thread to show off everyone's collections.

Here's a moose shed pile that we had several years back.

As for moose shed seasons, I've had some years where I was over 100. IIRC my best day I personally picked up over 20.

Awesome Pile Of Moose Sheds. Smokes my Moose pile Like a cheap Cigarette. Nice. I know a guy up in Truro Nova Scotia. He has a spot for Moose horns that they only pack out the best, and leave lots and lots behind. Man would I love to have that problem! Again, Nice pile!

Bcboy what part of bc are you from I use to live in sparwood and fernie and cranbrook

My buddies and I leave a ton in the bush. Paddles rot out quick especially if they land facing up in this wetbelt country. They are too bulky and you get SFA for them if they are rotten. Best to just leave them hangin in trees so you know not to talley that antler again in your yearly count. ;)
