the match

I found the brown antler two years ago on a high ridge. I made several trips back in to look for the match, but never found it. I even went back last year. Bear in mind its a days hike to get there, look around and come back. I went back there this spring and found this other antler. I figured for sure it was the match, even though I found it almost a mile away on a different ridge. It was definately out of my search perimeter. It was in good shape for a two year antler, but not unbelievable. Then when I get home and dig through the pile to find its match, its the same dang side. Its last years shed instead of the match for him two years ago. UNBELIEVABLE! I was hopeing to stain it and mount the antlers. I just really like the configuration of the antler, or how it looks. Here they are. I was going to measure it to do a comparison that way, but I doubt there will be much difference.

Go to the ridge in between and find this years side.
