THE BIG RUT in UTAH

When does the rut hit here in Utah. I wanna try and get up in the mountains during extended archery hunt and heard that the rut is the best time to be in the woods......Any thoughts?

The mulies are really starting to chase the does right now . The peak of the rut should be in about a week or ten days.

In my experience the rut starts up the second week of November then continues through the first week of December with the peak being just after Thanksgiving. So yup, there you go. Goodluck!

I've always had the most success the week of Thanksgiving.
