The first earthquake of 2015 here. 4:16 am. 5.1. It woke me up so I just got up and put a pot of coffee on.

Just another year in northern CA.

Steve, the wife and I plan to be in Eureka around the 24th. We do not want any more earthquakes where we had to cancel trip plans before. Put on your Mojo outfit and do a magical Mojo dance to stop all further earthquakes this month.
If you can not stop them, just have the epicenter of the quake pushed further down the coast to San Francisco and let it rip.

Hells Bells...last summer when that BIG ONE hit Napa, Ca which is not that far away from here I never felt a thing as I slept right thru it till my damn wife woke me up. I just told her to turn over and go back to sleep it is not around here I would bet.

Brian I can understand your wife being a little miffed at you. Years back my wife woke me up after hearing a strange noise outside the house.
I told her to go check it out. Her reply was, one hell of a good cop your are. I figured she could take care of herself as she is a very good shot. Women, who can understand them?
