Every Fall or Winter, we visit our friends down in Matagorda and enjoy the fruits of living in Texas. Redfish caught daily, fresh oysters, deer hunting, and picking our own pecans off their 40 acres along Caney Creek. Just something special about fresh nuts you crack and process by yourself! They make awesome pecan pancakes for breakfast too!!! Used up the last of them this morning, so I guess another trip is in order.
