tent question

I am for sure packing in for Stone sheep in August. There will probably be 3 of us in the group. In the past when we have 3 hunters we've used a 3-man tent. This year I'm thinking of taking 2 two man tents. This way there is a place to store our gear when we get bad weather(with the single guy in the 2-man tent)and more room to hang clothing to dry at night. Has anyone done this? Weight considerations aside, is there something I'm missing?

Sounds like a great idea. My Dad and I usually hunt together so we just take a 2 man, but when the weather gets ugly we get cramped up with all our gear. I wouldn't think weight would be a huge problem with 3 guys. I would do it..
