37 here in Central kali, headin up the hill to hunt hogs this mornin. Raining and cold, suppossed to be snowing pretty good about 1000ft which is only a few hundred up the hill

Was in the 20s here this morning. Not as bad as predicted. Up to around 32 now but a pretty good wind chill. Radio station said wind chill to 13. I know it's not pleasant to be out in it.

We got 4-5" of snow yesterday. We are at 1800' in the Sierras and it will be gone in a day or two. Just enought to make everything pretty, but not enough to be a inconvenience.
Our young grand kids came up and had a ball playing in the snow.

Currently it is 0. This AM at 6AM it was a still -20.
Let my doggie out this AM. So cold her feet would freeze to ground if she stood still. So she did a lot of high steppin. Got to watch a creepin crap......LOL.

Tonight: Scattered snow showers, mainly before 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 13. South wind between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm. Chance of precipitation is 40%.

Took a half a day off to dig out! About 8" of new snow.

Look at all you guys griping. Heck, there MIGHT be ice on the ponds tomorrow when I take the boat out duck hunting. But probably not.

It's always fun to see guys reaction when I hit that ice going full speed! I about had a guy jump right out of the boat one time. Sounds like lots of breaking glass, and we run right through it to the blind.

Just got in from feedin the horses. -6 on the truck temp. My water heaters blew a fuse last night and I had 3" of ice to chop out of 4 tanks. When the water splashed up and hit my face it froze instantly. Pretty damn cold.

That is a sign to be really proud of....I told the wife this is the last winter for me... I'm heading south with the snowbirds to Arizona from now on.
