Salem, Ore. ? On Tuesday, the coalition of opponents, including the Oregon Republican Party, attended the hearing in Salem to testify about the serious errors contained in the draft ballot titles and presented strong arguments on the clear bais of the ballot titles produced by the Democrats. Although the arguments were clear, logical and convincing, they fell on deaf ears The Democrats are trying to play politics with Oregon's referendum system and threatening the integrity of our electoral process.
They have demonstrated a pattern of denial, deceit and delay throughout the referendum process this year and their latest ploy is to change how the ballot titles for the Voters' Pamphlet are written and the result is pure political propaganda. The same Democratic legislators and liberal special interest groups that advocated for and passed these job-killing tax increases are the same people that have written the ballot titles!
