She had a craving for dessert, so made some blueberry cream cheese empanadas,, Sort of a cheesecake hand pie, I guess.

Do you have a recipe for the empanadas themselves, or did you buy them? If you did, brand, please?
Been wanting to make them with venison (or goose).

The best empanada dough I have found is in the freezer bread section by Goya. 5 inch diameter, and 12 per package. They are high quality, and even have the individual sheets of plastic separating the dough, for ease of use. As for the desserts, I just modify my egg roll recipe - last night was too late to fry.

You mentioned venison or goose hand pies. There are some really good cranberry or red wine sauce recipes out there to go along with them
