Swarovski Laser Guide 8x30 Laser Range Finder 70002

LAST EDITED ON Jan-01-11 AT 11:53PM (MST)[p]Better do a little more homework, because the Swarovski Laser Guide is an 8x30 monocular rangefinder, not a binocular and rangefinder combined.

Having said that, other than being a little on the big side and fairly expensive, they're one of the best stand-alone rangefinders available, but they DO NOT replace a good pair of binoculars.

Should also mention that some guys don't care for the Swaro LG aiming reticle (circle) at longer distances, but the few times I've used one I never had a an issue with it.

Here's a link to a pretty good review from a few years back:

I would agree with the above. Heck of a range on those babies but can be a pain to haul on the hip for long jaunts. Carrying the Swaro name, the optics are great but, you wouldn't want to have to "find" a critter with just the 8x rangefinder.
