have a chance to buy some Swaro 10x42 SLC non HD for $ 1000. Is this a good deal. From a friend in perfect condition. Also posted this on optics forum. Thanks, he wants an answer asap

How would they compare to the Leupold Mojave Pro guide HD binos. I'm sure the Swaros are better just don't know how big a difference the HD glass makes

The HD glass is for color and bird watchers love it. hunters don't need it.

You can't go wrong with Swarovski.
