It's about time this forum made a move! :)

What's the deal with that horny toad, looks like he's needing some medical attention, i think he pushed too hard going potty.

Cool. Thanks a bunch for sharing the photos. Always fun to look at. Just seeing those two big deer sheds laying in the brush makes me want to be out there.

Those are some nice summer finds for sure

Time in the hills is always worth more than money

>thats a sweat dead head elk
>does the D.W.R. know about
>that one!

YES

Thanks for your concern.

Maybe its one of the one's you chased to its death last winter? Who knows?

Sweet pictures...

I love it when the old bucks start shooting out tines from their bases... very cool! It takes a lot of hard work to find sheds this time of year... 10 billion blades of grass are defending them! Here is a pic of one I found on a ridge of brush.

On your way up the mountain, don't forget to look back and enjoy the view.

i dont chase elk! remember "only a couple get sick" you and your bro know everything you guys should know how it died.
but who knows you could of shot it to!

Thanks for sharing your finds! I always like seeing what others are collecting. You're right, this spring the grass is pretty tall hiding sheds, making it difficult to find 'em. Also here, the no-see-um's and heat and humidity make the hiking a bit miserable. Last two times out I only found an old broke-skulled 4x5... but I saw a bunch of elk and fair amount of deer.
