Strawberry reservoir, UT

I spent 4 days fishing the berry.
We caught a lot of fish.

Trolling lures on light spinning tackle, all catch & release, we boated over 200.
Cutthrout above about 21", close to 4 lbs.
These things have some seirous teeth.
My fingers were bleeding almost every day.

Biggest fish, 25", 8 lbs

Lots of 18-19" 3 lb fish

Wow that's great that lake used to produce some reel monsters.....
When I was a kid we fished over by Trout Creek not sure it is still there but would love to go back.
Were you trolling deep or shallow, first thing in the morning?
That Cutthrout trout are beautiful I always wanted to mount one of those...

We did everything. Shallow and deep down to 25 feet.
All day.
I tried a downrigger, but it was not worth the trouble,

The male eagle keep his distance, but the female perched on a rock and let us troll right past her.

Fall fishing at it's best. Now I'll go up there and get skunked!
