Still Looking for a really mature buck this year. Have not been able to get out to the ranch the past few days because of muddy roads due to heavy rains. Not complaining about the rain my tanks were nearly dry. I did get to put some venison in the freezer thanks to getting access to a place south of us a ways. Going to be some good eats. I love culling does and spikes for freezer!

Don't feel bad, I'm having a tough time as well, I had this deer at 24 yards on Nov 4th but let him go. It's the only decent deer I've seen since the season started

The good thing about being retired is, now that the rain has stopped, I can go stay at the ranch for a couple weeks just watching deer and looking for Mr Big. No pressure to put meat in freezer, no pressure to get back for work, just get to enjoy God’s creation and a lot of peace and quiet time.
