I've fipplered a few over the years! One fell off the rest just as I released and flew over the pronghorn into some heavy sagebrush and it took me an hour to find it. (I never saw the antelope again.) Another fipplered when I hit the release on the draw and it hit the ground about 20 feet in front of me. (The buck deer just stared at me until I made a move to reload, then he shot out of there much faster than my stick.)

I definitely fipplered one last year. First year back to the compound after 20 years and the first year ever with a release.

Drawing back as a cow elk was coming in and released about half way back on the draw. The cow did seem a bit curious about the arrow in the tree for a bit before she bugged out. Mental note: "Keep clear of the damn trigger until ready to release!"

I'll figure it out. 20 years of cedar shafts and trad bows were a lot different.
