Steiner merlin 8x42?

seems like a good deal..all over the web for $459-499.00 - which is my price range.

anyone have any other suggestions?

I've had the 10X42's for a couple of years now and have no complaints.

My favorite feature is the winged eye cups. For me, this drastically reduces eye strain.
