steiner 10x42 predator binoc's

hey y'all i have a question about steiner predator 10x42 binoc's.(not the new C5 series).

my wife ordered me a pair for christmas and they are still on back order. my question is = what is your opinion on steiner products, predator binocs, and the new C5 predator series.

or would i be better off looking at the vortex line of binoc's.

i can still cancel the order. so while i wait i would like to get the best pair for the money.

help, what do y'all think i should do.

Steiner is good german glass! I have a pair of the 10x42 pred's.
I dont pack them much anymore because I use my leica duovids. But would recomend them.
Vortex is junk stay away from it.
