Well I got a little creative and used wood putty to fill in the cracks and then I put a layer of shoe wax , sealer stuff, and then I poured dirt all over it. I looks pretty damn natural now

I agree with Littlefoot, very natural looking. I have a few that I'm going to try to stain thai summer, I'll let you know how they turn out.
