Note to self: If you ever decide to kidnap 2 bear cubs, make sure you do it alone, and have a backup plan in case you can't figure out what to do with them. Kidnapping bears is a huge commitment.

Hope they are heating that water. I am out towards the coast and it’s 36 degrees. Wimping out and waiting for it to warm up before I take the kayaks out.

Hmm. Maybe I didn't read the article closely- but just how did they get in the den? Takes some serious gonads to steel a couple of wee bear cubs, unless you somehow know the sow isn't around. Good chance they knew somehow

Taking bear cubs has never been something I've considered. That seems dumb! This guy's brain must be wired differently than mine.

Also, seems like he got off pretty cheap at about $2300 but that's probably because he turned himself in and cooperated somewhat.
