OK I just got done last weekend helping my buddy shoot his first bear a decent cinnamon in unit 31 the controlled hunt. Now I have the fever. My question is this, is it worth doing the spot and stalk thing in a general over the counter unit. Iam in good shape and always love to see what over the next ridge and I love to glass. I dont however really know where to start but Iam thinking up around the Boise foothills or Glenns Ferry along the East side of the Payette. I have never hunted any of these places except for 39 during late archery and I think there is way to much snow up were I hunted for deer. So any pointers would be awesome. Hugh
