spotting scope for shed hunting

I was wondering what type of spotting scopes a guy would recommend for shed hunting? I was looking for something to just throw in the pack to allow me get a little more extended range when the binoculars won't work and to really narrow down if it is actually a shed or not to save alot of time of walking to a stick that looks like a shed. I've seen spotting scopes $25 on up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought the Alpen Mini at Sportsman's Warehouse, I paid $39.00 for it there. If you buy it anywhere else you will pay about $80.00 for it. It is small and light weight. It is a 20 power scope and VERY compact. I really like it, just remember it is a $40.00 glass.

But I think what you are looking for it would be a perfect fit.
I bought it just to throw in my pack or truck and use it mainly for hunting locally, basically it was a good buy and pretty good glass.
