That's what I do mostly. It's fun, but frustrating at times. I love every second of it!. Best way is to get up high and glass at first light, watch where they bed down, play the wind, use cover and go for it. If it's thick where your at, try still hunting. Just walk through the woods really slowly, staying in the shadows as much as possible, and hope you come upon one. I haven't had ANY luck with that method on deer. It is nice to be in the woods though.
