I'm looking at buying a Spot-Hogg Right On Sight with Hogg Wrap. Are thay good? Should I buy a difrent one? What do you think

I have had the Real-Deal on my Mathews Legacy for a few years now and I love it! It's one tough sight! I would recommend a Spot-Hogg anyday.

Spot Hogg sights are durable bright and are easy to adjust. I would recommend them to anyone. Only downfall is the price!

Price isn't the only downfall, the fibers on a standard sight are flush with the back of the pin guard and very vulnerable to breakage. I agree with the toughness of the sight but broken fibers during a trip are the pits. Experienced it many times.
It looks like the new wraps have a little better protection.

I love mine to death. The new wrap does make the sight way brighter. Also less likely to have your fibers break. I put mine through hell this year. Not one problem with it. Before I added the wrap to my hogg-it. I had lots of trouble with broken pins. Not one since I added the wrap. My buddy just fell down with his bow and bent his copper john sight. He will be buying a spot hogg as soon as $ allows it.

Did you guys ever run into any elk after I bumped into you?

I definately carry extra fiber optics with me in the field.

Just some cows that day. We did find a few bulls towards the end of the season, but we just couldn't quite seal the deal. Had a blast though.

The wrap is way bright and the fibers being wrapped in plastic make them more durable than the un wrapped version.
