Spot and Stock

Have any of you guys tried spot and stock for antelope? I'm going out this weekend and haven't found a water hole yet so I figured I would give it a try. If you have, what strategies have you tried and did they work? Thanks.

Its definitely possible. Not as lazy.. i mean easy as sitting on a water hole all day but it is definitely do-able if you have the proper cover and terrain for it. We were up 2 weekends ago in our unit and a member of MM put a number of good stalks on animals. One of the keys he found best if you dont have a lot of cover is to watch their movements and try and head them off. good luck.

Thanks for the tip, I might have to try that this weekend. I am hunting in the Owyhees in Idaho. Mostly rolling hills with sage and some rocky areas.
