sportsman trail boss 250 help

I bought a 4 wheeler the other night. its a sportsman trailboss 250. it looks like an 87, but i can't find the VIN. I can find a serial number 1308096. Does anybody have any know how when it comes to this?

Any help is gratefully received.


It was a big bodied 2 point.

I bought mine used. It's a 2006 Honda 350 Rancher. Luckily I had taken what looked like a VIN # (it was hanging on a loose piece of sticker paper in the "trunk")and taped it back down. I was trying to license it, and the officer who was checking said that sometimes the VIN was just on a sticker. We had looked for about 15 minutes for it on the frame etc. He ended up using that number and it worked. There is no way it would have survived outside on the frame,so apparently the previous owner had taped it in the box. Good luck, there may not be one on yours.

I hope you got it cheap a 80s poloaris is NO 80s honda. PS check the frame.
