South Slope Moose

My Dad has been hunting the South Slope and has only seen cows we went out last weekend in the bad weather and no bulls any info on bulls that have been seen would be helpful he is limited to the amount of hiking and horse riding but will do his best to be successful any information will help also is the rut still in place not sure hearing yes and no thanks.

They are rutting now. Go back to every place you saw cows and look hard. Calling works well. The South Slope hunt is one of the toughest moose hunts in Utah. Look in drainages on the West end of the unit. Best of luck.
