South Dakota Deer Hunting..???

Hey guys- just lookin for anybody here who may be familiar with South Dakota deer hunting. More specifically, possibly, the Rosebud Indian Reservation..??

My bro-in-law is a tribal member and we are headed out there in Oct for a buffalo hunt. While there, we would like to at least see the wildlife. We know his family will point us in the right direction, but thought I'd see if anyone had experience.

Also, is the pheasant hunting good there in the south, central part of the state. We are thinking we'll take out shotguns and maybe get some birds while we are there..???

There are tons of both deer (WT/MD) and pheasants!!!

Ive hunted the Rosebud Reservation tag acouple of times for deer prior to the tribe making it where you needed a tribal guide to hunt there lands. Always enjoyed the hunt and area.
