That last pix is the coolest thing i have ever seen!
I'm assuming that shed lying there is off that dead bull that's missing one??

Skull Krazy
"No Bones About It"

The loose antler is certainly from the dead bull. I do not know when it came off before or afrer his death, but the button matches up for sure!!!
I have seen several like this over the years. One I found the antlers both came off in my hands as I tried to break loose the back bone from the skull!

great pics and 'finds', ned...i have to tell ya, i couldn't go there....i would end up being a 'criminal'...but, i sure love seeing your pics.....thanks again...

littlefoot YOU could do it but some can't it seems. Sometimes we cross over a place we travled before to find the big ones are gone when we return. I once had 13 boyscouts there to watch the bulls and see the sheds, as we came to a meadow where there had been a Huge shed I described it then sent them ahead to find it, but it was gone allready. On the other hand I just saw pictures from chrisbo of this half shed bull that he took back in July! I am glad that he had integrity enough to leave it so I could discover it too!!!
