Any Snuffer SS user's out there that could give me some feedback on how they light them and how they perform? Thinking about using them this year...........although I don't like the idea of having to sharpen them up before I head out.

LAST EDITED ON May-03-07 AT 08:34AM (MST)[p]It's a great head. Make sure it shoots good out of your set up. It might take just a bit of tuning as most heads usually do, but put one behind the shoulder and you won't be dissapointed.

The SnufferSS is a very good head! I used a 125 grn one last year with a longbow at 57# I drove the head to the fletchings & stuck in the off shoulder of an elk. Good blood trail although he only went 125yds or so. I'd highly reccomend it!

It takes aprox 10 minutes per head to sharpen out of the package, they're not sharp, but well worth the time to razor up. All cut on contact heads usually need some touch-up out of the package. The SnufferSS needs a little more. Here's a photo of the elk!
