It seems like this place has really died off the last few weeks as far as new shed pictures. I'm thinking once the snow finally melts off then it will pick up again.

I was only able to get out and hike for an hour this weekend but was able to pick up a brown set and white three point.

I'll post a few from the last couple weeks and i hope everyone will do the same. We need to liven up the shed forum.

Sorry most of them are cell phone pics. I'm starting to think my camera is bad luck. Everytime i take it with me i get skunked.

Nice finds and great flint head and pottery too! Along the Northern Front Range of CO, we've been hammered with snow lately and I havn't been able to get out. Maybe this weekend....

Sweet pics! I've got the same problem with my camera, so I quit taking it with me. Still haven't been doing as well as I thought I'd be, but have been picking up a bit of bone. Hit an area yesterday that usually produces very well, but when I got in there, snowmobile tracks were everywhere! I was irrate because it takes over 3 hours just to get into the spot and up to the ridges. I only picked up one raghorn 5 point (just one side) and that was laying right on one of the sled tracks.

SS,
After our hike yesterday, i was thinking... do u think that shed fell off the sled? I don't remember seeing any elk track in the snow at all near that shed...Interesting how it was literally right in the middle of the sled track..

i've been staying away from the hills here in wyo the last couple weeks. To much snow. I hope others guys are leaving the heards alone. We have had some negative degree days with a couple feet of snow the last couple weeks. I'm sure we have lost enough critters as it is with this cold spell. I figure i will give it another week before i head back out.

Yes the snow is keepin' me down but I've been having a great year. Been making an attempt to train a shed dog so I've gotten out more this year than I ever have. The results are that my dog is getting better with each outing and she found 11 unasisted sheds on our last outing. We are up to 71 sheds this year but the snow has slowed us down. But its all good.
Thanks for posting the pictures. I really like the eye guard on that broken shed. fatrooster.
