Slow computer....

My computer is slowing down. How do I degragment my computer? I am using Windows7 I think. What else can I do to speed my puter up? I figure that MM is the right place to ask these technological questions.

delete any programs you dont use.

defraging always helps to. not sure where you will find your defraging program on the computer, somwhere under programs.

its about an hour process for the computer to defrag

See how much RAM you have and if you can add to it. Don't forget updates.

wiz

i was wandering if your having problems with monster muleys. cause i have a brand new computer and high speed internet.

this morning i get on monster muleys, click the elk forumn and the page just stayed that tanish color, i hit refresh and nothing. hit the back button anc clicked on it again and still nothing, third try i got in. same thing happens and a lot threads i want to read. this has been happening for a few days.

i have also tried my wifes computer and same thing, then when i was over a buddys house same thing again. so maybe other people are haveing the same problem

nfh I have had the same problems as well. I don't think it is a computer problem. I use multiple computers at work and they all have a "Tan delay" as you mentioned. My lap top at home (New) does the same thing.

Add more gun powder and use a hotter primer? That should speed it up.
