SKULL FOR ELK SHEDS ???

So I have a set of elk sheds that are about 340" and I want to put them on a Skull.
I have used the Mountain Mike's deer skull and it comes out pretty good.I went to cabelas and looked at the Mountain Mike's elk skull and it doesn't look like it's built to hold up any thing bigger than a small 5x5.
Has anyone used a Mountain Mike's elk skull or one of the artificial skulls from van dykes on a bigger bull

Take a look at the "set i decided to throw on a skull" thread in thios section. There are pics of 2 bulls we put on the mtn mikes. mine goes 330ish and im sure osoks is bigger. not the best in the world but they hold the sheds good.

I love the MM skulls, but $110 for the elk skull?????? Are you kidding me? That is outrageous for a piece of plastic. The deer skulls are $39.99 and the elk skulls are maybe a little less than twice the size? Ok so why can't they price them at $70 or so?
I'll probably still buy one, but that price sucks.

Ya its a little crazy if you ask me but there arent many other options out there. $70 would be more realistic to me too.

The artificial skulls from van dykes are about $70.00

There's more work in using them but I'm still wondering if it would be worth the extra time for a better final product

Wish I could find someone who's tried one out
Maybe I need to order one of each and all post back what one I think is better
